The ICU of Ayatollah Golpayegani Hospital has seven active beds. This ward enjoys advanced equipment and central monitoring system, and can offer care for critically ill patients 24/7. The experienced and caring staff of this ward receive continuous training in conferences inside or outside the hospital as well as general conferences. House anesthesiologists are present in the ward 24/7.

Providing care for critically ill patients with brain, respiratory, renal, and other diseases who require mechanical ventilation and precise control of vital signs, including patients with stroke, chronic renal failure, end-stage cancers, and poisoning
Patients with special conditions who require intensive care following surgery
Pregnant women who require intensive care before or after delivery or surgery
All the beds in this ward are equipped with a full-parameter monitoring system, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitor, skin thermometer, central oxygen, central suction, infusion pump, syringe driver, electrocardiography, defibrillator, and stretcher.
The isolation room in this ward has all the medical equipment necessary for isolating some patients. In case of having advanced wounds, the patients are followed-up and bandaged by the wound clinic.
