The obstetrics and gynecology surgery ward of Ayatollah Golpayegani Hospital enjoys modern equipment and up-to-date knowledge of experienced doctors and staff, and attempts to offer the best therapeutic services to pregnant women.

This ward has 24 beds in 11 two-bed rooms, a VIP room, and an isolation room. All rooms are equipped with welfare services, e.g. Western-style toilet, bathroom, TV set, closet, nurse call system, refrigerator, crib, and welfare services for patients’ entourage

Two room are specified for isolated patients and are equipped with air filters and other isolation facilities.

There is one room specialized for patients with eclampsia and preeclampsia (pregnancy toxemia), and one two-bed room for high-risk mothers.

Each patient receives training in the form of pamphlets. Moreover, a midwife or nurse offers in-person training on self-care and emergency signs.

An on-call doctor is present in this ward on 24/7
